We all will become ‘Soulless’ soon.

A couple weeks back, Paul recommended the book ‘Soulless‘ for his pick with the Zombie Popcorn Book Club.  If you haven’t checked it out yet, you should head over to the Zombie Popcorn Book Club and pick up a copy – you won’t be disappointed.

‘Soulless’ is the first book in the Parasol Protectorate Series. The series is best described as a comedies of manners set in Victorian London: full of vampires, dirigibles, and tea. They are either Jane Austen doing urban fantasy, or PG Wodehouse doing steampunk.

The ‘Soulless’ audiobook was named one of Audible‘s top 20 sleeper hits and ‘Changeless’ (the second book in the series) is a New York Times BESTSELLER.  The third book, ‘Blameless’ will hit the streets on September 1, 2010. [singlepic id=1330 w=320 h=240 float=right]

So, why am I telling you all of this?   Because Gail Carriger the wonderful author of these books will be on Zombie Popcorn Radio this Saturday,  July 31, 2010.

So in the meantime, everyone should pick up Gail’s books (at least one of them) and then join us this Saturday on Zombie Popcorn Radio. If you want to email or call in with questions you are welcome to join us.

New York Times Bestselling author Gail Carriger began writing in order to cope with being raised in obscurity by an expatriate Brit and an incurable curmudgeon. She escaped small town life and inadvertently acquired several degrees in Higher Learning. Ms. Carriger then traveled the historic cities of Europe, subsisting entirely on biscuits secreted in her handbag. She now resides in the Colonies, surrounded by fantastic shoes, where she insists on tea imported directly from London. She is fond of teeny tiny hats and tropical fruit. The Parasol Protectorate books are: Soulless (Oct. 2009), Changeless (March 2010),Blameless (Sept. 2010), Heartless(2011), and Timeless (2012). Soulless won the ALA’s Alex Award.
