Oliver Stone has a new film entitled, Savages.  It based on The New York Times’ Top 10 books of 2010.

How does that make you feel?

Savages is a crime–thriller film directed and co-written by Oliver Stone. It is based on the novel of the same name by Don Winslow, who co-wrote the script with Stone and Shane Salerno.  When their hippie girlfriend, O (short for Ophelia) (Blake Lively), is kidnapped, two marijuana growers – University of California, Berkeley graduate Ben (Aaron Johnson) and former U.S. Navy SEAL Chon (Taylor Kitsch) – confront a Mexican drug cartel formally called the Baja Cartel (led by Elena Sanchez (a.k.a Elena La Reina) (Salma Hayek) and Miguel (a.k.a. Lado) (Benicio del Toro) to rescue her. John Travolta plays a corrupt DEA agent.

    I think Savages is going to be great with all the great actors and I like the story! I would love tickets to the advance screening!
