On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, his brother Gary (Jason Segel) and Gary’s girlfriend Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate. With secret, signature, celebrity cameos, Disney’s “The Muppets” hits the big screen Nov. 23, 2011.

It is hard to pick a favorite, but I have always been intrigued by Scooter, I mean what is the deal with this guy, is he some kind of animal or a person or what? He is pure muppet. I also think Sgt. Floyd Pepper is cool since he is a fellow bass player and clearly muppethead.

I LOVE THEM ALL!!! Miss Piggy for her divatude, Rizzo the Rat in “A Muppet Christmas Carol,” Fozzy Bear and his “wakka wakka” jokes, Kermit for just being himself (we know it ain’t easy), and, of course, Statler and Waldorf for being so hilariously ornery. Cannot wait to see this!!

Rizzo The Rat by all means. Reminds me of the role of “Ratso Rizzo”, the street hustler in Midnight Cowboy, portrayed by a young Dustin Hoffman.

Professor Bunsen Honeydew is the best muppet! He pushes the boundaries of science and probably listens to Kraftwerk. See this sad story about the late professor.

Sam the eagle because he is always brutally honest at all the right times.

Also, I don’t think that Elmo is technically a muppet. He might be of the same creator and appear in some large group singing type scenes that show cameos of the more Sesame Street variety characters, but not really of the actual muppet clan.
