Satan at Play – Forgotten History in Film

It is not very often that I promote silent films, in fact, I think this is the first time I posted one on Zombie Popcorn.  1907

Satan s’amuse or as known here in the US, Satan at Play. This film was released on Oct. 26, 1907 and was directed by Segundo de Chomón.
Segundo de Chomón was viewed as a pioneering Spanish film director in France. He produced several silent shorts and 1901 he  joined Pathe Laboratories, where he specialized in adding color to film.

The storyline for this film is, ‘In an unnamed place, his majesty Satan is bored. Despite his servants exertions, nothing can be found to cheer him up.’

So here it is in all of it glory, Satan s’amuse (1907)
