Oh how I love Halloween. It is by far my most favorite holiday. I love the weather, I love how it gets dark earlier and I love all the horror stories that come out from the wood work around this time.
As you know, I am going to be spending Halloween in Yellowstone and will not do a Zombie Popcorn Radio show this Saturday. So I thought it would be nice if you wanted to curl up with some hot chocolate, a blanket and your friends in front the radio and listen to some old and classic horror stories. The radio this year will be Zombie Popcorn Radio and the stories are as follows:
- Night of the Living Dead – Rare Radio Adaptation
- Edgar Allan Poe read by some pretty famous people, including Christopher Walken and David Bowie
- Vincent Price reads a collection of horror stories, including Edgar Allan Poe
- Boris Karloff tells tales of horror
- H.P. Lovecraft
- Anton LaVey’s The Satanic Mass
- Great radio horror movie trailers and advertisments
- Sounds to make you shiver
- and so much more.
I know you want to listen and know you want to go trick or treat’n so I am going to make sure these stories are played until Monday evening. This way you will have time to hit up the haunted houses and then kick back at night and listen to the horror masters tell you tales of fright.
When does it start? Well, if you are reading this – it is happening right now – so what are you waiting for? Tune in…. or are you afraid?
Enjoy!
PS- We are trying a new format for the radio show – and if the player does not work for you– please try opening it in another browser. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi:
I am a long-time Music/Program Director from Central Pa. as well as an avid Monster novelty song collector. I have over 400 obscure monster novelty songs and was wondering if you may be interested in using some for the show. I can E-mail list, if interested. Best, Bill P.S. I host an annual Halloween radio show in my area called “The haunted Jukebox”…
