The Movie of the Year: Black Dynamite

Posted on 18 October 2009 by Jason Bayless

I love this film because of the acting, the look, the sounds – everything about it-  and of course it brings Arsenio Hall back on the screen. This film does an excellent job of bring back the look and feel of the 70′s and will have you rolling on the floor laughing.

This film will be on blu-ray soon – scheduled to ship on November 2009 but it is making its rounds at selected theaters starting on  October 16, 2009.

This is the story of 1970s African-American action legend Black Dynamite. When ‘The Man’ murders his brother, pumps heroin into local orphanages, and floods the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor, Black Dynamite (Michael Jai White) is the one hero willing to fight all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House.
