In Thailand, artist Kittiwat Unarrom uses dough as his medium to sculpt gruesome renditions of hand, feet, heads, torsos and other body parts. The results are unnervingly realistic with eyes, lips and other details constructed out of cashews, and raisins. (everything is totally edible)
The bakery is located in Ratchaburi province. Ratchaburi is located about 50 miles west of Bangkok on the bank of the Mae Klong River. If you are in the area there are daily tours you can take, here is one site that gives tours.
So why does a bakery of human body parts exist? Personally, I think all bakeries should be like this but this is what Kittiwat Unarrom says why he does it,
I wanted to reflect the universal fact of life – birth, existence and decay – that everything is subject to change… Of course, people were shocked and thought that I was mad when they saw the works. But once they knew the idea behind it, they understood and became interested in the work itself, instead of thinking that I am crazy.
So what is the idea behind the madness?
Unarrom replies,
…talking about consumption at this stage, about people grabbing the food that has the most colourful and well designed packaging, not for its healthiness. When people see the bread, they don’t want to eat it. But when they taste it, it’s just normal bread. The lesson is ‘don’t judge just by outer appearances.

i think it is gruesome and totally immoral, some of the bread looked like rotten human legs and for anybody to want to eat something like that is insane. i would like to see the artist make one online to convince the world that it is not real human parts on display. some people need doctors to check their brain for signs of mental disorders
