Ok, I love the movies that James Gunn has put out, you know, Slither, Dawn of the Dead (remake, screenplay), and of course, Tromeo and Juliet. I also think that he has the best blog on the web – well, outside of Zombie Popcorn, of course.

I exposed the government covering up a massive zombie outbreak back in 2008. Now, I just found out that, Scientists have known for over a century about this parasite’s ability to turn unsuspecting ants into zombies.” according to the science website – Science a go-go.
This is unacceptable because it is only a matter of time before the ‘evil doers’ of this world turn this parasite on us and make us all zombies.
It seems Harvard University’s David P. Hughes is scientist who has ‘chronicled the amazingly precise control the fungus has over its victim.’ What is he up to? Why must he try to understand the ‘precise control’ – who is he really working for?
Here is what Hughes has found;
When a carpenter ant is infected by the fungus known as Ophiocordyceps unilateralis, the victim remains alive for a short time. But, explained Hughes, the fungus is firmly in the driver’s seat. It compels the ant to climb from its nest high in the forest canopy down into small plants and saplings in the lower vegetation. The ant then climbs out onto the underside of a low-hanging leaf where it clamps down with its mandibles just before the fungus kills it.
It remains stuck there for weeks while the fungus continues to grow inside its body. After a few days, a stroma (the fungus’s fruiting body) sprouts from the back of the ant’s head. After a week or two, the stroma starts raining down spores to the forest floor below. Each spore has the potential to infect another unfortunate carpenter ant.
Working in a forest in Thailand, Hughes discovered that the infected carpenter ants are almost invariably found clamped onto the undersides of leaves that are about 10 inches from the ground below. What’s more, most of the dead ants were found on leaves sprouting from the northwest side of the plant.
Its only a matter of time before we are finding dead people hanging on the on leaves sprouting from the northwest side of a plant. Don’t be surprised when Hughes and his gang of zombie ants come knocking on your door… I warned you!
The New Nightmare on Elm Street Trailer was just released and after watching it, I am excited to see the ‘reboot’ but then again I have my worries. I will explain why after you view the trailer.
I am happy to see the first trailer of this upcoming film. I have been curious about it since they started filming it. As you can see in the trailer the film may dive deeper into Freddy’s past before becoming the nightmare demon. The film looks like it tips his hat to the original several times but still adds fresh new ideas to the story. I just hope they keep Freddy’s mouth shut in this film. That is one thing that I never really could get into with the other films – Freddy’s humor. I just want Freddy to kill people, not talk.
In the early 2000′s I was introduced to Dog Fashion Disco, a band not like any other I had ever heard. The first time I listened to one of their songs I distinctly remember thinking they would fit right in as the house band in hell! That is if hell were a 24/7 circus. Their music is a blend of metal, prog rock, jazz, circus, and elevator music. The lyrical content is just as entertaining as the music with themes pertaining to murder (“Headless” from 2001′s Anarchists of Good Taste), serial killers (“Pogo the Clown” from 2003′s Committed to a Bright Future), pornography and satanic cowboys (“Pervert” and “The Satanic Cowboy” from 2000′s The Embryo’s In Bloom), and bad acid trips (“The Acid Memoirs” also from 2003′s Committed…).
I was lucky enough to see Dog Fashion Disco live not once, but twice! And both experiences were very odd circumstances. The first time I saw them was at a club in Pensacola, Florida. They were still an unsigned band doing a tour on there own and my friend Rachel and I had heard their demo and loved it. So we got in the car and drove 2 hours away to see them. When we arrived at the club it wasn’t open. It seemed as though there wasn’t even a show that night. We walked around the back of the club to find the band in their van. They said they had been their all day and no one had come to let them in to set up or sound check. We sat and talked with them for a while until someone finally came and opened the club. By that time we were on a first name basis with the band, and they were so surprised that we came to see them that they put us on their guest list for the night. After getting inside and setting up, they came over and asked us if we wanted to hear any particular songs that night, so we pretty much picked the set list for the show. In the end, the only people that came to the show were us, and about 5 others. Even with such a bad turnout they performed like they were in front of thousands of fans. It is a show that will forever be a great memory for me. The second time I saw them was in someones back yard, with back yard wrestling and motor cross! But, that is a whole other post!
Even though Dog Fashion Disco is now defunct, I still listen to them constantly. I think they were way ahead of their time. They were from Baltimore, Maryland and played their final show on January 13th in 2007. I urge anyone of Zombie Popcorn’s readers to check out their discography, you’ll find their music is very entertaining and enjoyable.Their cover of Frankie Valli’s “Grease” is Amazing!
2000 – The Embryo’s in Bloom
2001 – Anarchists of Good Taste
2003 – Committed to a Bright Future
2004 – Day of the Dead EP
2006 – Adultery

A true story about a baby who was declared dead by the hospital, woke up moments before the funeral.
Here is the complete story from Reuters.
A baby boy born 16 weeks prematurely was declared dead by doctors at a hospital in Paraguay only to wake up in time for his funeral wake hours later.
Dr. Ernesto Weber, head of pediatric care at the state-run hospital in the capital of Asuncion, said the baby weighed just 500 grams (17.6 ounces) when he was born.
“Initially, the baby didn’t move, he practically didn’t have any respiratory reflexes, nor did we hear a heartbeat and, as a result, we declared a premature fetus of 24 weeks dead,” Weber told Reuters Television.
The family was given a death certificate and a cardboard box with the baby’s name scribbled on the outside which served as a makeshift coffin.
But when the family took him from the hospital to prepare him for his funeral, the unbelievable happened.
“I opened the box and took the baby out and he cried. I got scared and I said “the baby’s crying” … and then he started moving his arms, his legs and I got scared, we got very scared,” said one member of the family, Liliana Alvarenga.
Hours after the baby’s death had been declared he was found to be alive. The hospital has begun an investigation and the baby is now in a stable condition in an incubator.
There is a new Denzel Washington movie coming out and it is called, Book of Eli. I don’t know if it because I have been playing Fallout 3 a lot lately or what – but this film looks amazing.
A post-apocalyptic tale, in which a lone man fights his way across America in order to protect a sacred book that holds the secrets to saving humankind.
Just check out the two trailers below and judge for yourself!
Paul is a man of many sounds, I am talking about musical sounds not bodily.
He will join us throughout the entire show and we will be talking to him about his past projects, which included being the composer for the soundtrack of the horror documentary, Nightmares in Red, White and Blue. His current project Frore, his ambient band and of course, his future projects.
Frore is Paul Casper. loops, synths, flute noises, didgeridoo, bowed guitar and other noisy toys. Paul also help out in the filipino goth band, Dominion.
So make sure you tune in tonight at 7-9pm (EST) to hear all of our rants and to hear about some amazing projects that are in the making.
For a while now I have seen previews for the movie Zombieland (opening nationwide October 2nd) and I have been waiting patiently for it to hit theaters. The thing that impresses me the most is the promotion the studio has been doing for the film. They pretty much have avoided television promotion, and set their sights on the internet, word of mouth, and street teams.
It has come to my attention that another promotion Columbia Pictures is doing is a zombie walk. They are encouraging fans to dress as zombies meet at a designated spot and walk to the theater as if they are taking over! In return the fans will get to screen the movie for free. That is amazing!
Here are the cities that zombies are taking over.
Washington D.C. – Tuesday, Sept. 29th
Los Angeles – Wednesday, Sept. 30th
Chicago – Thursday, Oct. 1st
Dallas – Thursday, Oct 1st
Houston – Thursday, Oct. 1st
For details on your local Zombie Walk and advance Zombieland screening visit ZombieLand Walks.
Personally, I think this movie is going to kill everything, and I can’t wait to see it. I love Woody Harrelson and I think he is very overlooked as and actor. This movie looks fun as hell and gory to par. Be sure to listen to Zombie Popcorn Radio on Saturday from 7-9 pm eastern standard time, we will be talking about Zombieland, the zombie walks, and how we think this movie will kill everything.
I have always read horror magazines and other publications. You know like Fangoria, Heavy Metal, House of Hammer Magazine, Famous Monsters, Re-animator comics, Grand Illusions, and of course all the Clive Barker books and comics.
I look back in memory of how amazing I thought these books were and think they don’t do publications like this any more. Well, today I stumbled across Monster Kid. I love this online magazine because it has the old feel that the books, mags and comics that I read as a kid. It also offers 3D images of the great horror films of the past.
Issue # 6 is my fav. so far, because it offers great articles about :
Vampira,
Artwork by Frank Dietz
A tribute to Gill Man AKA Ben Chapman. (Creature from the Black Lagoon – one of my fav. 3D movies)
and so much more, including 3D images of great horror films of the past!
Here is a sample of 3D photos that Monster Kid has to offer…. so get you your 3D glasses.

I got hooked on Dexter after the first episode. It is a great show and anyone who loves drama and serial killers will be hooked. The series was based on the novel “Darkly Dreaming Dexter” by Jeff Lindsay, and stars Micheal C. Hall (Six Feet Under, Gamer) as the title character, Dexter Morgan. The gist of the story goes as follows, Dexter Morgan is a “blood splatter” analyst for the Miami police department by day, and a serial killer by night. The show pretty much runs off the drama and suspense of this Jekyll and Hyde character, and the family and friends he keeps in tow.
What I find so appealing and great about the show is how the writers keep you clinging to Dexter through thick and thin, and you are (essentially) rooting for the “Dark Passenger” throughout the entire series. Not once in the 3 seasons of the show have I ever felt like “Dexter has it coming!”, or that “I hope something bad happens to Dexter!”. No, in all cases I am going “Holy shit! I hope he can cover that up!” or ” I hope he gets out of this so he can get back home in time for pizza night!” I love that kind of dynamic where you are on the team you shouldn’t be on, and you want bad things to happen to these people that Dexter kills.
In past seasons we have found Dexter competing with another serial killer (who turns out to be his brother!), being caught red handed and having to deal with the situation, and having a friend who is a little too understanding. These situations have made of great television and have kept me glued to the couch every season. I rented the first 2 seasons and loved it so much that I got Showtime added to my cable. Which takes dedication because Showtime plays terrible movies! Season 4 begins this Sunday the 27th at 9 PM and we find Dexter married with children and having to balance his “hobby” with his home life, and we get an introduction to a new character played by John Lithgow (Footloose, Twilight Zone the Movie) which Dexter “looks up to” . It should make for an interesting season. Please do yourself a favor and rent the first 3 seasons and catch up, because you are missing out on a great show!
Be sure to tune in to Zombie Popcorn Radio on Saturdays 7-9 PM Eastern standard time for our live broadcast in which we will be talking about the post from that week and other things Zombie-Popcorn related. Yes, even Dexter!
You may have noticed that Zombie Popcorn now has a new logo. We are very excited about it.
The artist who designed the logo is Chris Garcia AKA The LastDeviant.
He is an amazing artist and good friend and he loves zombies just as much, but not more, than everyone here at Zombie Popcorn.
I am going to have him on Zombie Popcorn Radio in the near future so we can talk more about his current projects, so keep an eye out for that and in the meantime, check out some of his other projects. Don’t forget to drop him a line, thanking him for the new kick-ass Zombie Popcorn logo.
I have always been puzzled by the acts of cruelty that humans put others through, no matter if that cruelty is to animals or humans. Not only am I puzzled by these acts but I am intrigued by them. Some people are fascinated by serial killers and social-paths. I am fascinated with the devices people make to torture others. I find myself, while looking at items of torture, trying to get inside the inventors head. You know, to see what sparked such a perverse creativity. Truthfully, some of the medieval torture devices were simply an amazing act of creativity, morbid, but creative.
Like this device. It is called the Pear. What does it do? Well, it is inserted into your mouth, rectum or vagina. A screw mechanism then makes its pointed “leaves” expand while inside any of those orifices, resulting in severe internal mutilation. Reports have said that it can split your head open.
Why was it used?
In Medieval Europe, if you commit sodomy, adultery, incest, heresy, blasphemy or sexual union with Satan, you would receive ‘The Pear’.
I could go on all day with all the devices that fascinate me, but I won’t do that because I have found a place that I want to visit and it will do it for me.
The place is the Torture Museum and it is located in Amsterdam. The purpose of this museum is to to document the history of the human cruelty. I think I am sending my resume in tomorrow.
This museum offers a small range of torture devices but they tell the history of these device very well, from what I have read about this museum.
Here is one item they offer.
Yeah, you are thinking to yourself, ‘Oh, wow Jason, what did they do with that? Torture some trees. You are nothing but a tree hugging hippy! I thought you were different, I thought you were a real horror person. I bet you are dancing around right now with flowers in your hair chanting, Oh please don’t cut down the trees!” Or something similar to that. No matter what you are thinking, this ‘saw’ is not for cutting down trees.
Check out this photo to see what they used it for… just click on the image to get a closer look.
So as you can see this place offers a very interesting element of our history. If you want to visit the Torture Museum here is the address.

- On a completely different note, I just wanted to remind you that tomorrow – Saturday between the hours of 7-9pm (EST) Josh and I will be hosting a LIVE broadcast of Zombie Popcorn Radio.
A while back I mentioned the comic book series Dead World and how it was one of my favorite horror comics that I read as a young adult. What I didn’t realize at the time was that a new new edition of the series is coming out in October.
Dead World: Slaughter House is the new edition to this wonderful and fun horror story that took up so much of my time.
In this self contained story arc, many humans find themselves trapped in a world of the walking dead and the living who will do anything to survive. The promise of Safe Haven reveals a much darker and sinister purpose, when victims find themselves in a medical faciilty which will stop at nothing to combat the zombie plague. In an effort to solve the growing plague, researchers try a scientific approach to save mankind—humans as guinea pigs! Natural diseases such as leprosy, AIDS, and cancer are used to infect the zombies. Survivors find that the greatest horror may not be the zombies but other humans. To the unfortunate, Safe Haven becomes known as the Slaughterhouse.
Back in the day I made sure I had ever single issue of Dead World and I wish I still had that collection but things happen… So, I was extremely happy to find out that the series had not died, no pun intended. In fact, you can get the first issue of Slaughter House for free — here!
I know that some of you are not familiar with the Dead World series so let me bring you up to speed with this blurb;
A supernatural plague has been unleashed on the world. The dead return to walk the earth…but this is no standard zombie story. The dead are just soldiers for those who have crossed the Gateway. The leader zombies are intelligent, sadistic, and in addition to having a hankering for flesh, enjoy the tortuous ordeals they put the surviving humans through.
Leader of the zombies is the intelligent, Harley riding, sarcastic being known as King Zombie. Killing humans is just a sideline to his cruel methods as he seeks to find a way to open the gates permanently and take over the earth.
Deadworld is a horror comic that attacks the zombie menace from a different perspective. In addition to having intelligent zombies with a goal and mission, Deadworld is also exploring the human interactions as mankind finds itself facing extinction. While some groups organize in the best interests of self-preservation, others use this as an opportunity to explore their own self deluded dreams.
Deadworld is a story of horror…of survival…of hope and despair. It is an ongoing saga of modern man facing his darkest side…where science and technology are no longer his allies…where his power of reasoning is no longer his weapon alone. Deadworld is death, yet life.
And for those who don’t like to read comics, you are in luck because David Hayter, he wrote the screenplay for Watchmen, X-Men 2 and X-men and was the voice of Solid Snake in Konami’s Metal Gear Solid. Anyway, he has agreed to do a Dead World film. No word on when it will come out but you can trust as soon as I know something I will be posted here on Psychosomatic Rants.
As you know, I am always tortured, I mean, subjected to the Hello Kitty universe almost daily.
It is part of the daily routine to open links, sent from Mylie T, that open into some world of ‘cuteness‘. Today was no different, or I thought it wasn’t. Mylie T sent me a link that took me to Sanrio Puroland. Yes, the Hello Kitty theme park nightmare. I say nightmare because if offers shows like the Hello Kitty and the Wizard of OZ musical.
Another theme park attraction is the “Kitty’s House” or what I like to call ‘The House of Satan!” Where you can “Experience Kitty’s daily lifestyle in her very own boudoir and have a commemorative photo take with Kitty!” Click on the photo to your left to check out the house of satan…the Kitty House.
While looking through the flames of hell – AKA the Sanrio Puroland website – I noticed something that caught my eye. It was the Ge Ge Ge No Kitaro 3D ride! There might be hope for Hello Kitty…
GeGeGe no Kitaro is a manga series created in 1959 by manga artist Shigeru Mizuki. It is best known for its popularization of the folklore creatures known as yōkai, a class of spirit-monster to which all of the main characters belong.
The title of the original story is Hakaba no Kitarō , literally meaning “Kitaro (of the) Graveyard”. This story was an early 20th century Japanese folk tale performed on kamishibai. The name “Ge Ge Ge…” was applied to Mizuki’s particular telling of the Kitaro story when his manga became an anime. In January, 2008, the original manga was finally adapted into an anime, running in Fuji TV’s Noitamina slot.*
Here is the intro to the modern day Ge Ge Ge No Kitaro .. and now a 3D ride at Sanrio Puroland — YAY!
**Update: Mylie T just walked in with the Hello Kitty Online MMORPG game in her hand and a HUGE smile on her face. You can view the Hello Kitty Online game trailer below Kitaro.

The rules of Halloween:
1. Wear a costume.
2. Hand out treats.
3. Never blow out a jack o’ lantern.
4. And ALWAYS check your candy.
Hello everyone, this is Josh and here are a few things you should know about me. I love music, and movies. I really look forward to movies when they hit theaters because I love going out, getting popcorn, seeing the movie on a big screen, hearing and seeing how people react to the film, and so on, that experience can make a shitty movie great in my opinion.
So, probably over a year ago, I was at the movies and saw a preview (another thing I love at the theaters) for this movie “Trick R’ Treat” and it looked awesome, just the kind of movie I would rush to the theaters to see on opening weekend. Fast forward to a present day… I find out that this movie is not going to be released in theaters!!!! I’m not too sure why, I have heard their were troubles with release due to studios, and such but, apparently the powers that be decided that the film was not worthy of a theatrical release and is going straight to DVD this October.
The trailer for this film looks incredible, and the reviews I have seen have all been positive. One review even said “it should be ranked with the original Halloween” . I am pretty outraged at the decision, myself. October is coming up and this would be the perfect movie for a Halloween release. Here is the plot summary and trailers for the film.
It is said that Halloween is the night when the dead rise to walk among us and other unspeakable things roam free. The rituals of All Hallows Eve were devised to protect us from their evil mischief, and one small town is about to be taught a terrifying lesson that some traditions are best not forgotten. Nothing is what it seems when a suburban couple learns the dangers of blowing out a Jack-o-Lantern before midnight; four women cross paths with a costumed stalker at a local festival; a group of pranksters goes too far and discovers the horrifying truth buried in a local legend; and a cantankerous old hermit is visited by a strange trick-or-treater with a few bones to pick. Costumes and candy, ghouls and goblins, monsters and mayhem… the tricks and treats of Halloween turn deadly as strange creatures of every variety-human and otherwise-try to survive the scariest night of the year.
I am so obsessed with Noboru Iguchi (director of The Machine Girl) and Yoshihiro Nishimura (director of Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl and Tokyo Gore Police) films. So of course, I am jumping up and down that Noboru Iguchi (director) and Yoshihiro Nishimura (special effects) have teamed up to bring a brand new film to hit the market this fall. - Robo-Geisha
Yes! Robo-Geisha. This film is scheduled to be released in Japan on October 3, 2009 but no word on when the English title will be released.
Words never seem to give this film justice, just like all the other films Noboru and Yoshihiro have made, so enjoy this trailer for Robo-Geisha and describe it yourself… if you can!
Yes, most of us already know about the Red Sonja remake planned for 2010. If you don’t – let me tell you it is going to be awesome. Rose McGowan plays Red Sonja.
I watched the Conan and Red Sonja films so much when I was a kid and yes, I read the comic books. There is nothing better than a good and very cheese-y fantasy movie. So, giving the old a new look and feel is something I am looking forward to and I can’t wait for the release.
If you don’t know much about the first Red Sonja film here is the trailer and a blurb about the first film.
The tyrant Gedren seeks the total power in a world of barbarism. She raids the city Hablac and kills the keeper of a talisman that gives her great power. Red Sonja, sister of the keeper, sets out with her magic sword to overthrow Gedren. The talisman’s master Kalidor follows to protect her. Of course they fall in love – however Red Sonja’s power bases on the oath to never give herself to any man.
The new Red Sonja story line goes like this;
In her return we find Red Sonja, a young girl risen from the ashes of tragedy to become the most feared woman warrior of all time. The mythical red-head blindly seeks vengeance on those who destroyed her family. In her path of destruction she discovers a larger purpose for her unearthly powers: to save all Hyrkania from the villainous Kulan Gath.
Just released today, According to Fox News, actress Rose McGowan lost part of her elbow whilst in-training for her new role as the title character in the Red Sonja remake.
“I had wrist and elbow surgery and they took part of my elbow out. I had really bad nerve damage from doing stunts – I do a lot of my own stunts,” McGowan recently told Tarts. “I could no longer use my arm, but now I can hold a fork and drive so we’re working our way up. It’ll probably be another six months of rehab, but It’s the price you pay for being really limber and being able to do back flips!”
The news site says that production was brought to a standstill, though principal photography has not yet started. The word is the shoot will be put back for at least six months.
I have a love/hate relationship to the right wing media and its followers when it comes to covering Obama. As you are hearing right now about all the freak outs FOX News and others are saying about Obama talking to school children. The right wingers go to great lengths to paint a bad image of the current president.
The tactics used brings out the love in this love/hate relationship because it is so beyond anything you would ever take as reality and people leach onto the message as if it is truth. So far, my favorite is the anti- ‘Yes, We Can!” campaign. People are saying if you play his speech backwards, when Obama says, ‘Yes we can’ – in reverse it says, ‘Thank you Satan!” I want the job of the person who sits around all day looking for things like this..
All the videos online that feature the ‘Thank you Satan’ campaign makes me laugh so hard I end up crying.
So, I will share my favorite with you…but first here is the video explaining how all of this works….
I don’t know what makes me laugh more this video or the text that is added to the video..
Are people praising the devil when they chant Barrack Hussein Obama’s mantra, “Yes we can?” It sounds like it to me. I knew Barrack Hussein Obama was of the devil, but this is strange, but true. Listen to his mantra backwards and you will hear, “Thank you satan”.
I don’t think it’s a mistake that God would have these words say “thank you satan” when said backward. These words are boastful, proud and arrogant. We can do NOTHING without the Lord Jesus Christ. It is the devil who boasted that he would be so high that he would be above the Lord God Himself.
There are ignorant so-called “Christians” and even preachers and Pastors boasting Obama’s wicked mantra. They need to stop. They are thanking the devil!
Wake up people!
and now the children singing ‘THANK YOU SATAN!”
In the clip below at 1:13 is by far my favorite part of the entire clip — truly, thank you satan!
The good news is you can watch President Obama’s Message for American Students right here – enjoy!
It has been about a week since Josh Browning started writing for Zombie Popcorn. So far, he has put out some great articles – if you missed them check them out
I have known Josh for a while and every time we see each other – we, without a doubt, start talking about movies and once we get started you can never shut us up. So, I invited him to write for Psychosomatic Rants.
I am very happy to have Josh on board and you will be seeing a lot more of him in the future…. and when I say a lot more – I mean, totally nude photos… ok, not really – but we both have a ton of projects in the works.
So keep and eye out for Josh and give him a warm welcome to Zombie Popcorn!
Here at Zombie-Popcorn.com we are always looking out for you. Always making sure you don’t fall into the hands of evil.
A while back we warned you about Cults and offered you the Cult Checklist. It has come to our attention that the cult checklist is a good resource but it doesn’t help against Demonic Possession!
So today we will offer warning signs of having a demon. Later, we may even offer how to get rid of a demon, that is if you want to get rid of it.
Please note, these are REAL warning signs taken from Ministry Networks and Fellowship Communities. The only thing I changed from their list is the order in which the warning signs are listed.
Occult powers or abilities: Anybody who can tell a fortune, lift an object through levitation, break a solid oak board with their hand, etc. using demonic powers needs a deliverance. Martial arts are known for using demonic powers to break boards, etc. Unnatural strength is a sign of demonic power, such as the man with the legion in the Bible.
I underlined the part about martial arts because this is a huge issue. Think about this and the problems it has made and what we have to do to Chuck Norris. This means I will have to write a post about ‘How to Exercise a Demon’ and then we all have to find Chuck Norris and get the demon out of him. Maybe Bob Larson can help..
Anyway, on with the warning signs..
Physical health problems: Arthritis, cancer, HIV, and a host of other illnesses are almost always caused by evil spirits. If it cannot be easily cured, then it’s almost always a spirit that is causing it.
We have found the cause of cancer, no, no, it is not your eating habits. No, it is not your smoking or drinking– it is a demon. What about HIV? The devil gave it to you. I think what we need to do now is petition the American Cancer Society to change their name to the American Demon Society.
Obsessions: Driving interests in the occult, demons, and creatures of the dark such as wolves, owls, etc. can indicate a demonic bondage. Obsession with death is almost a sure sign of demonic bondage.
All I am saying with this one is — stay away from me, I am only into cults, death and creatures of the dark to protect you, my readers. I put myself in this danger for you! So don’t loop me in on this demonic bondage.
Compulsive behavior: Compulsive behavior such as cutting is a Biblical symptom of demonic bondage.
All you emo kids need to go to church!
Unnatural desires and feelings: Sexual attraction towards animals, unnatural sexual desires, unusually strong attractions towards somebody who is married, past lover, etc. can indicate soul ties and demonic bondage.
Isn’t this almost every man on earth? well, except the sexual attraction towards animals.
Experiencing the demonic: Most often (not always, but usually) when people are visited by demons, hearing them, seeing them, etc., they are in need of a deliverance.
Ancestors have similar problems: If both you and one or more of your ancestors have the same kind of problem(s), then there may be a generational spirit at work.
You know how many 1970′s and 80′s horror films are based on this principle? A ton!
Compulsive sinning against your will: Addictions, uncontrollable anger, lust, urges to murder or commit suicide, etc.
Compulsive sinning?
Mental torment: Fear, depression, irrational heaviness in the soul, hearing voices in the mind, hearing auditable voices that nobody else hears, compulsive thoughts, insanity, mental illness, etc. Obsessive irrational worry is almost always a demon. People who are scared stiff over the unpardonable sin are in need of counseling and likely deliverance.
I hear voices all the time, ask Mylie T. We will sit in the house and I will look at her and say, “What?” She will look at me as if I am crazy and say, “I didn’t say anything”
Emotional problems: Unable to get close to other people, sensing rejection for no reason, irrational emotional breakdowns, etc. Often more then just casting out demons is needed in this category, inner healing must also take place as well as tearing down strongholds.
Whoa! This is the reason I started Psychosomatic Rants….
I hope this helps this list helps you, I know it did for me and remember no one is safe,
Christians can have demons and at times need to have them cast out. There is no real Biblical bases to claim that Christians cannot have demons. Actually, the Bible shows us clearly that deliverance is geared towards God’s children. Jesus actually referred to it as children’s bread, and said it was not fit to cast before dogs.
“I want to hold you close, soft breath, beating heart, as I whisper in your ear, I want to fucking tear you apart.”
Justin Warfield sings in his baritone vocal style and leaves you wondering “does he want this person sexually, or does he literally want to tear her apart?” This is one example of the world Watkins and guitarist/keyboardist Adam 12 create in their music that draws you in like a stalker to a victim.
Releasing their self titled debut in early 2006, She Wants Revenge have crafted a pretty unique style blending goth rock with electronic beats and eerie piano melodies. They have been compared to the likes of bands such as Joy Division, Bauhaus, and Interpol, mostly because of Watkins baritone vocals. The thing that draws me to them as a fan is the way they put the listener in the same world they are living in and you follow Warfield on his journey, weather it is wanting a girl so badly that he will tear her apart once he gets his hands on her, or singing about a girls who has been through a terrible ordeal, and tries to get on with her life (She Will Always Be a Broken Girl, from 2007′s This is Forever).
Another great element about She Wants Revenge is how they bring their songs to life with videos. Reminiscent of David Lynch or Stanley Kubrick their videos are typically very dark, suspenseful, and often leave you wondering “What the hell was that about?” which is something i love in film and story-telling is when it doesn’t leave you peacefully and makes you think.
I believe that She Wants Revenge bring something fresh to the table and will be around for a long time. Although under the radar, they have had songs in many movies and TV shows, and don’t get the credit they deserve as being a great band with great songs. Please check out their videos and albums.
Mylie and I have been talking about our old Atari 2600 and Colecovision games all night. So, I thought I would share with you the games that we played and I think they may have drove us crazy..
I think that the games we grew up on made us all a little nuts…maybe that is why everyone was on Prozac and other emotional drugs, because these games made us repeat the same moves over and over again to achieve nothing! Looking back at it now, I am shocked to see how much nonsense game developers put us through.
Outside of driving us completely mad, how did Atari get away with their lies when it came to the art on the cover of the game and the graphics in the game?
For example: This cover —->
Looks nothing like this game….
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
So, enough of my rants, here is the short list of the games Mylie and I played growing up.
James Gunn thinks so by saying, ‘Your nightmares are real. God is mocking us with this fish.’
What fish you ask?
This fish…
The reports say according to Fox Local 6 News,
A fish caught in Lubbock, Texas, with teeth that look like they belong to a human has baffled wildlife officials in the area, according to a report.Fisherman Scott Curry reeled in the 20-pound fish on Buffalo Springs Lake and immediately noticed the catch had human-like teeth.A game warden photographed the fish and is attempting to identify it.General Manager of Buffalo Springs Lake Greg Thornton told KLBK13-TV in Texas that he has never seen anything like the fish in the 36 years he has lived near the lake.A search for what the fish may be suggested that it may be a pacu, which is found in South America.Curry said he believes he saw another similar fish while on the lake.A Texas television station reported that lake officials will give $100 to anyone catching a similar fish.
I have to challenge James Gunn on this one, after watching that video – I don’t think God is mocking us with the fish –the fisherman…maybe.
